In terms of design, the new Buds Pro somewhat resembles the AirPods Pro to a degree. But what sets it apart from Apple’s product are the chrome-covered stems on each earbud, giving them a more fancy-looking appearance. In addition, the product is made available in two colour options: white and black. Hopefully, OnePlus’ design for its Buds Pro is enough to prevent US customs from mistakenly identifying them as counterfeit AirPods....

Pei’s quiet exit does come as something of a surprise. According to Bernama, eight individuals were also arrested for being involved in mining activities using stolen electricity. This would power stolen electricity from Sarawak Energy Berhad, the state’s equivalent of Peninsular’s Tenaga Nasional Berhad. To recap, reports suggests that Samsung isn’t just working on a single Galaxy S10 model, but a total of four different models. As a recap, Qualcomm won a legal battle against the company from Cupertino in Germany a couple of weeks ago. The former won the court case, and the German court ordered a ban on the sale of iPhones with chips provided by Qorno Inc., one of Apple’s many suppliers. In order to enforce the court order, Qualcomm had to post bonds to the value of 1.34 billion Euros (~RM6.32 billion)....

Taiwanese outlet Digitimes reports that Qualcomm will be working with ASUS to develop and launch phones bearing the former’s branding. And on the launch bit, it could actually happen as soon as the end of this year, too. The former will take care of the “industry design” and “software integration optimising its Snapdragon 875 platform”. On the other hand, the latter will take care of designing and developing the rest of the hardware....
