Maybank revealed on Twitter that it would be carrying out scheduled maintenance for various services this Friday on 9 October 2020 from 11.30pm until 11.59pm. According to the bank, online services via its Maybank2u website and app will be affected including online payments, bank transfers, QR Pay, and Wealth. It noted that offline services such as debit card transactions, ATM, and automated cheque deposit will also be unavailable within the aforementioned time....

At the time we published our last report about Sirius back in October 2019, Smart Digital International was preparing to launch the service in November. However, the launch eventually did not take place but that does not mean the end of the road for Sirius though. Our recent visit to Sirius’ Facebook page and its official website has led us to several interesting updates from the company. SK hynix says that the new 24Gb DDR5 memory samples are made using cutting-edge 1anm technology, which is technically the semiconductor maker’s fourth iteration of the 10nm process, using the EUV process. Technically speaking, it also means that each chip within a DDR5 module contain 24Gb, up from the existing 16Gb used with the 1ynm DDR5. In terms of improvements, the increased memory per chip means that the company’s latest DDR5 modules should have an improved production efficiency and speed increase of 33% over the last generation....

According to Sonos, radio playback allegedly accounts for approximately half of all the times a customer spends tuned in to its products. To curate and provide more engaging and interesting radio streaming content, Sonos says that it has partnered up with multiple streaming partners that, in turn, provide access to more than 60000 stations. Sonos Radio will also a sub-section called Sonos Presents. The brand says this part of the service will provide customers with originally curated content such as behind-the-scene stories, special guest radio hours and what it calls “Artist-hosted radio hours” where guest artists will host a radio show for one hour....

Before that, let’s start with the similarities. Both the Sony XAV-AX6000 and XAV-AX4000 come with a 6.95-inch touchscreen, and come with support for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. So that’s the basics already covered for most in-car receiver needs. But for the audio enthusiasts, both receivers take things a step further. One example of that is both receivers have support for LDAC. This is a proprietary audio coding tech by Sony, which allows for high bitrate sampling via Bluetooth....

A number of players have been able to get a refund for the game, while others did not. VG247 has been able to identify two of each, within the same Reddit thread. As per the official press statement, the WF-1000XM4 earbuds sport a new rounded, compact, and ergonomic design than before. Additionally, the earbuds feature Sony’s new V1 Integrated Processor that features a more advanced form of active noise cancellation. On top of that, the earbuds have a total of four noise sensor microphones; two on each earbud, tasked with hearing and analysing ambient noises. As for the audio delivery, the WF-1000XM4 features what Sony a “newly designed” 6mm driver unit, along with a high compliance diaphragm to drive performance in low frequencies and enhance noise cancelling....

The rumour stems from a post made on the Chinese social media platform, Weibo. According to the user who made the post, the Xperia 1 IV is expected to ship out with a new main quad-camera module, only instead of multiple 12MP sensors, Sony is upping the ante with three 48MP sensors. With the fourth sensor’s pixel count still undisclosed. Specifically, the Weibo users say that, based on an engineering sample of the Xperia IV they had obtained, we could be looking at a 48MP f/1....

But to quickly go overr them, the Xperia 10 II comes with a 6-inch 21:9 Full HD+ OLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 3600mAh battery. It will also be running Android 10 out of the box. It sports a 12MP + 8MP + 8MP triple camera setup. This consists of the main camera, ultra-wide camera, and telephoto camera, respectively. The front camera is an 8MP shooter that doesn’t sit in a notch of any kind....

Like its predecessor, the Xperia 5 II is designed to be a “watered down” version of the Xperia 1 II, but as I found in my time with it, that isn’t quite the case. Specifications At the risk of repeating myself here, the Xperia 5 II is a step up from its predecessor, figuratively and literally speaking. The phone is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865, but besides that slight update and its display, it is essentially a carbon copy of the original Xperia 5....

Interesting enough, it seems that Epic Games has also joined in to celebrate the release of the game today. The game company has announced that Imperial Stormtrooper outfit is now available for Fortnite. Players are now able to purchase it through the game’s Item Shop for 1,500 V-Bucks which roughly equals to around RM 60 since 1,000 V-Bucks already costs RM 39.90*. However, do note that it will only be available in Fornite’s store until 17 November....

To illustrate how big a gain Steam experienced, consider this. As PCGamer helpfully noted, it took two whole years for Steam to get from a record of 18.5 million concurrent users (in 2018) to 18.8 million in February 2020. That being said, the top games and genres on Steam haven’t changed that much. The games on Steam with the most players right now are Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, PUBG, Rust, and Apex Legends – not exactly surprising or ground-breaking....
