The leak comes by way of Geekbench and Thai leakster, APISAK (@TUM_APISAK). On Geekbench, the GPU’s name is listed as “Intel Gen12HP HD Graphics NEO”, and has 512 EUs or Compute Units. More importantly, it appears that the GPU runs at 1.15GHz and has 6GB of graphics memory, although it’s unclear if it is GDDR6 or HBM2 memory. Considering that the GPU itself is part of Intel’s Xe-HP lineup that is aimed toward high-performance computing solutions and datacentres, the latter format seems more likely.

Unsurprisingly, the Geekbench tests clearly sway in favour of the RTX 3070, but as a reminder, this could also be due to Intel’s GPU not being optimised for the benchmark.
As for Intel’s Xe-DG2, no further information exists about the consumer-level GPU beyond the initial report that it could ship out with 8GB GDDR6 graphics memory. We’ve also been given a glimpse of the GPU die size, which is approximately 189mm in size. As with all leaks and rumours, take this story with a large grain of salt.
