Now, it seems someone has leaked more information about the next-generation console, including a few of its launch titles, courtesy of Pastebin. GamesRadar+ reports that someone claiming to be a European developer has shared extensive knowledge about the upcoming console. Details include more detailed specs of the console, as well as a few launch titles, were shared on Pastebin back in December, and seem to be making its rounds in the rumour mill again.

Some of the interesting bits of information include a 7nm, 8-core, 16-threads AMD Ryzen processor, running at an unknown clockspeed. The GPU will also be based on AMD’s upcoming 7nm Navi architecture, which the report says is capable of generating approximately 14 teraflops of compute power. 4K will reportedly be a norm – if not a standard – for the PS5, but the source says the next-gen console will reportedly be capable of 8K upscaling. Alongside these details about the PS5, the Pastebin file also hints at the existence of a 2nd generation PlayStation VR headset. It is said to come with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, a refresh rate of 120Hz, a 220-degree field of view, and eye tracking capabilities.

Finally, we get to the supposed list of games that will launch alongside the PS5. According to the source, Gran Turismo 7 will be one of the exclusives that will launch with the console, alongside the remasters of The Last of Us 2 and Ghost of Tsushima, both of which are still unreleased for the PS4. On the other hand, there are also some other non-exclusive titles on the list, including Grand Theft Auto 6, Battlefield: Bad Company 3, and an unnamed Assassin’s Creed title. The file also states that, contrary to the previous analysis by IDC’s Lewis Ward, that the PS5 will be announced around E3 2019, which Sony won’t be a part of. This follows the previous generation’s seven-year cycle, with the supposed launch in either March or November 2020. Granted, all this info came from a Pastebin file, so it’s best to take every last thing here with a pinch of salt. (Source: Pastebin via GamesRadar+)
