As to where the information came from, the details were spotted on an official AMD Radeon Driver index page, courtesy of eagle-eyed scourer, Coelacanth’s Dream. While the products themselves do not officially exist at the moment, this leak is the first sighting of the mobile GPUs and can be lumped in together with the desktop Radeon RX 6500XT and RX6400 GPUs that have also appeared in earlier reports. While the listing does not contain any specific details, it is speculated that these mobile GPUs could end up being based on AMD’s Navi 24, which is essentially the company’s low-power RDNA 2 GPU variant. On that note, we could be looking at mobile graphics running with as many as 16 Compute Units or 1024 Stream Processors, a 64-bit memory bus, and a choice of 2GB and 4GB GDDR6 of graphics memory. As for when we might get a glimpse of these GPUs, word is that AMD may be planning on debuting them during CES 2022, where the chipmaker is also expected to announce its next-generation of Ryzen 6000 series CPUs, codenamed “Rembrandt”. Guess we’ll just have wait until then. (Source: AMD, Coelacanth’s Dream)
