That said, AMD did not provide a specific availability date for its Zen 3-based CPUs, although online rumours and speculations are suggesting that said products may be arriving sometime during the fourth quarter of this year, but just before year’s end. Details are scarce, but the Zen 3 CPU architecture is said to be a similar albeit enhanced version of AMD’s existing 7nm die lithography. Like its predecessors, the Ryzen 4000 series desktop CPUs will undoubtedly ship out without an integrated graphics unit.

We believe this is important to mention as, at current, AMD also recently launched its Zen 2-based Renoir Ryzen 4000 mobile processors for the laptop market. Unlike its unreleased desktop CPUs with an identical name, these CPUs feature integrated Radeon GPUs inside them. As far as performance goes, Zen 3 CPUs are expected to provide better Instruction Per Clock (IPC), as well as further improvements and performance gains over the current Zen 2 Ryzen 3000 series CPUs.
