The patch for Xbox One players comes in at 66.3GB. Devs for the game Infinity Ward explains that this is due to a bug in Microsoft’s patch delivery process, causing the re-downloading of already existing files. In comparison, on PC the patch size for Call of Duty: Warzone alone is 0.88GB, while the patch for the full Modern Warfare game with the battle royale mode is 1.83GB.

Those without blazing fast download speeds will likely spend the whole weekend downloading the patch rather than playing the game. And sure enough, that seems to be the general reaction on Twitter.
