Not long after the site went live, Disney+ Hotstar has also begun to roll out its official app to users in Malaysia. At the time this article was published, the app has been readily available via Google Play on Android mobile devices and Android TV as well as iOS and Apple TV App Store. In terms of the subscription fee, it remains the same as what was announced by Disney earlier available at RM 54.90 for three months. Essentially, this means that the service costs RM 18.30 per month although there is no other option available for Disney+ Hotstar Malaysia at the moment when it comes to direct subscription fee. The only other way to obtain access to Disney+ Hotstar in Malaysia is to add Movie Packs into your Astro subscription. For existing Astro Movie Pack subscribers, the activation process starts from 12:00 PM onwards over at Astro’s website.
