The penalty will also be imposed on passengers that didn’t show up for their booking and forced the driver to cancel the booking by labeling it as “Passenger no-show”. Same goes for GrabShare bookings that have to be canceled because there were too many passengers or luggage.

However, the compensation will not be provided to drivers if they don’t move towards the passenger or take too long to reach to their bookings. Meanwhile, the exact amount of cancellation fee depends on the type of GrabCar that passengers have booked. Here is the table, as provided by Grab Malaysia:
