With a CNC-machined chassis that is made from 316L stainless steel together with a thickness of 9.7mm, the 32.5 grams Watch Magic also supports 22mm straps which are rather common out there. That being said, straps that are designed for the watch does feature QuickFit lever on their spring bars to allow easy removal.
It is also equipped with a 1.2-inch AMOLED touch display that has a resolution of 390 x 390 and pixel density of 326 ppi. Comes with a 178mAh battery, the Watch Magic’s dual chipset architecture apparently helps balance its power consumption and performance which subsequently allows the smartwatch to have battery life of 7-days per charge. Aside from GPS, the smartwatch is also designed to support GLONASS and GALILEO global navigation satellite systems. With its ability to withstand water depth of up to 50 meters, users are indeed able to utilize Watch Magic for track their swims alongside mountaineering activities with the help of the watch’s barometer.
Other than that, the device is equipped with Huawei TruSeen 3.0 optical-based heart rate monitor as well as the usual accelerometer, gyroscope, magnometer, and ambient light sensor. Not to forget, it also incorporated sleep tracking technology that have been jointly developed by Huawei and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In terms of pricing, the HONOR Magic Watch will be available in Malaysia for RM 599 starting from this coming Saturday, 26 January onwards. Of course, one can also obtain it for free by being among the first customers to purchase the new HONOR View20 during its launch roadshow in 1 Utama on 26 January.
