Based on the images provided by the leakster, the Xperia 10 IV – much like the fourth generation of the Xperia 1 – is shown to sport an identical design to its predecessor. Complete with the same notchless and cutout-less 6-inch flat OLED display with a tall aspect ratio, as well as button placements, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, rear triple-camera arrangement, a USB-C port at the bottom, and a 3.5mm headphone jack on top.

Sadly, that seems to be the only differentiating design element that is noticeable. OnLeaks says that the mid-ranger measures at 153.3 x 67.3 x 8.4mm in terms of dimensions, which makes it slightly thinner than its predecessor. It is also offered in four colour options; namely Black, White, Mint Green, and Berry Blue. Strangely enough, the leakster claims that Sony also decided to retain the same specs for the Xperia 10 IV. This basically means that the phone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 690 chipset, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 4,000mAh battery. Meanwhile, details regarding its camera specifications are still unknown at this time. Chances are, the company may introduce some upgrades to the latter.  According to UAE website Zoutons.ae, OnLeaks’ collaborator for this leak, the Sony Xperia 10 IV may hit store shelves sometime during mid-2022 for AED 1100 (~RM 1,252). If true, this would make the phone cost far less than its predecessor, which debuted at RM 1,999 in Malaysia last year. No information on its expected reveal was provided, but it is likely that the upcoming phone may debut alongside the Sony Xperia 1 IV, which is also rumoured to launch in May.
