The Edge 30 Fusion sports a 6.55-inch 10-bit pOLED display with curved edges, a peak brightness of 1100 nits, and a staggeringly-high 144Hz refresh rate. Both the screen and the phone’s back area are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 while it utilizes an under-display fingerprint scanner as a biometric security measure. Motorola somehow decided to equip the Edge 30 Fusion with last year’s flagship processor, in the form of Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus. Also featuring 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, the phone does not come with a microSD expansion slot despite the small capacity. Complete with IP52 water and dust resistance rating, it ships with Android 12 out of the box and has support for Wi-Fi 6 and 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC. While it doesn’t have the Edge 30 Ultra’s 200MP sensor, the Edge 30 Fusion still packs a punch with a tri-camera setup comprised of a 50MP main shooter, a 13MP ultra-wide, and a depth sensor. On the front side, the punch hole cutout houses a 32MP sensor for your selfies. For audio, the phone is equipped with stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos. Powering the device is a modest 4,400mAh battery with a battery life that the company claims can last over a day, and it also supports 68W wired fast charging which apparently is able to replenish’s 50% of the phone’s battery in just 10 minutes. The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion is available in Europe for EUR600 (~RM2,700) but its rollout in other markets is not yet known for now.
