For starters, the Nokia 8.1 features Qualcomm’s AI-powered Snapdragon 710 SoC, 4GB LPDDR4x RAM, and an internal storage capacity of 64GB. Expandable up to 400GB via microSD. It’s screen is a 6.18-inch Full HD+ PureDisplay with a sizable notch at the top of it. The highlight of the phone is its dual 12MP + 13MP main camera array with Zeiss Optics and OIS. Specifically, the 12MP sensor measures in at 1.4µm with an aperture of 1/2.55″. The phone also sports At the front, the phone features a 0.9µm 20MP sensor.
Software-wise, the Nokia 8.1 is an Android One smartphone, and ships out with the latest Android 9.0 Pie OS. That means that the phone also comes with an adaptive battery feature, and a more intuitive user interface. On that note, the phone is powered by a 3500mAh battery, and supports fast charging. The Nokia 8.1 is slated for availability sometime in the middle of December. It will retail for €399 (~RM1885), and will come in three colour combinations; blue and silver, steel and cooper, and Iron and Steel.
