After checking with MCMC’s Check Your Label app, we can confirm that the OnePlus 11 5G has been registered and certified by SIRIM as of 17 January 2023. With the global launch of the phone taking place on 7 February, it’s safe to say we can probably expect a local launch here soon after the event.
The OnePlus 11 is the brand’s bleeding-edge smartphone that sports a new camera design as well as bringing back the return of the iconic physical alert slider. It is equipped with a flat 1440p 6.7-inch LTPO 3.0 AMOLED display, with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a peak brightness that hits 1,300 nits. Being the company’s newest flagship device, it’s of course running on the most powerful chipset from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The phone comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X of RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. For the global market, it will ship with OxygenOS 13 based on Android 13. Of course, the phone’s piece de resistance can be found on the back with a big, circular camera bump emblazoned with the Hasselblad logo to denote the two companies’ collaboration. There are three rear cameras in total made up of a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom. Up front, the display houses a 16MP selfie shooter in a punch-hole cutout. Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging, which is still impressive but pales in comparison to the 10T’s 150W wired charging speed. Unfortunately, the OnePlus 11 is one of the few flagship phones that won’t have wireless charging compatibility.
