According to multiple reports, users began posting the green tint issue on the OnePlus community forums. Showcasing the issue side by side with a Galaxy Note 10+. The users say that the issue only appeared when two criteria are fulfilled: the display’s refresh rate is set to 120Hz and its brightness levels drop the absolute minimum. Rectifying the green tint issue can reportedly be solved by switching off the DC Dimming feature found within the OnePlus 8 Pro. However, doing so leads to the black crush issue, where dark areas seen on the display begin to lose detail.

OnePlus has since responded to the issue, saying that it is currently investigating the issue and that it is working to resolve it in the phone’s next OTA. The OnePlus 8 Pro got its official launch more than a week ago, along with the non-Pro OnePlus 8. Specs-wise, the phone comes with the Snapdragon 865 SoC, up to 12GB RAM, and a 6.78-inch Fluid AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It also comes with a quad-camera module, comprising 48MP Sony IMX689 main, a 48MP ultrawide, an 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and a 5MP colour filter.
