The new plates, now called CMP Shells, look a lot simpler than they did before. In fact, the only visible difference between these and the official PS5 plates is the black colour and the lack of the PS logo at the corner. The company claims that it has managed to improve ventilation despite this. Which leads to the company’s explanation as to the legal ground it’s standing on. CMP says that its shells are patent pending, and that all sales “finalised before it’s approved are untouchable”....

The New York Times mentions that lawyers and investors are contemplating a class-action lawsuit over the Cyberpunk 2077 situation. As one Polish lawyer notes, CD Projekt may be guilty of “misrepresentation in order to receive financial benefits”. Another New York-based firm is also investigating CD Projekt for the same case as well, according to PC Gamer. It’s certainly an ugly situation for CD Projekt right now. Not only was Cyberpunk 2077 first announced nearly a decade ago, it was also delayed three times on its launch year....

Sources reports that the 64-year-old daredevil died upon impact after his rocket malfunctioned during launch. The vehicle’s parachute prematurely deployed seconds after take-off, which also hindered the craft’s propulsion and trajectory. Furthermore, the parachute was completely severed from the rocket in the process, thus leaving Hughes with no means of landing safely. — Science Channel (@ScienceChannel) February 23, 2020 The launch was documented by Discovery’s new Science Channel show called Homemade Astronauts, according to CNN....

ORIGINAL STORY (4:04 PM): Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) has recently ordered the removal of advertisements by an app called SugarBook from LED billboards at Bangsar and Bukit Kiara. The directive was issued by DBKL after the advertisements went viral earlier this week. According to the statement released by DBKL, the adverts which were deemed by many as lewd and suggestive didn’t receive authorization from the authority. In fact, even the owner of the billboard, Yayasan Wilayah Perseketuan (YWP), was not informed of the adverts by the billboard operator, Out of Home....

Among those details include the actual timeline of the credit distribution although earlier this week, Finance Minister, Tengku Zafrul Aziz has briefly addressed it at a media Q&A during his work visit to TEKUN Nasional. According to a report by Berita Harian, Minister Zafrul stated that the ePENJANA credit will be distributed at the end of this month. Eight titles have been chosen as medal events for the Hanoi SEA Games 2021. According to a report by Techspot, no less than 16 European digital advertising brands – backed by both Facebook and Google – recently voiced out their discord with the way the iOS 14 security feature handles the tracking methods of apps and websites. For context, advertisers and app developers tend to track users’ input across their apps, effectively learning more about their interests and creating a profile more tailored for their needs....

The device adopts a new class of near-eye displays packed in a sunglasses-like form factor. It utilises a combination of holographic optics and polarisation-based optical folding, which allows for thinner and smaller displays that are less than 0.35 inches thick. While the prototype is functional, Facebook notes that it could only output in monochrome for now. The company promises that the tech will be capable of providing a wider colour range, as well as better resolutions that would eliminate visible pixels....

The mask was originally introduced as part of a DIY tutorial on YouTube by brand designer Chelsea Klukas in April, and a full-blown production was not planned. However, the video was so well received and certain viewers had also asked for a ready-to-wear version of the mask, Klukas said. The designer added that the mask has been Lumen Couture’s best-selling item so far after announcing its availability. Today, a long-time star of the franchise, Vin Diesel shared a video of himself and Cena on Instagram on what appears to be Cena’s last day of filming. To date, the use of VR headsets mean that you’re isolated from the real world, the HoloLens 2 will be able to let you browse the internet while still letting you see what’s going on around you. Thanks to the headset’s default use of Augmented Reality (AR). That said, Firefox Reality isn’t exclusive to the HoloLens 2. Mozilla is already working with Magic Leap on a version for its AR wearable, the Magic Leap One....

What we mean by that is that Galax’s packaging designs show the RTX 4070 logo prominently displayed at the front of the box, while the RTX 4070 Ti markings are also clear on the sides. For another matter, the markings are only being applied to the brand’s Ex Gamer White and SG White Editions of the cards. Deadline reports that MGM has obtained the rights to a book proposal called The Antisocial Network. It’s one from author Ben Mezrich, who wrote Accidental Billionaires. MGM adopted that book as The Social Network, and it is looking to do the same with the new book, which will chronicle the events that lead to the events of last week. Separately, Netflix is also planning on making an original film that will use the GameStop situation as a jumping off point....

Google in an effort to help optimise battery life for Android devices announced that the company has worked on two new updates that are currently running on the beta variant of Chrome (version M85). Both of these updates include the new Profile Guided Optimisation and Tab Throttling feature. With these new updates being added to the beta release, the Profile Guided Optimisation feature looks to provide much faster browsing responsiveness as compared to previous versions before the update....
