The issue first came to light via Reddit and Samsung’s Community Forums, where users who purchased the phone listed down some quirks with the display of their S20 FE’s display. Some of the issues include the scrolling to be “jerky” at the start of the motion, followed by a slow scrolling gesture registering as a super-fast swipe. For one S20 FE owner, his phone’s touchscreen issues include oversensitivity, where touching just the edge of the screen will automatically pick up the interaction....

Details of the feature came from Twitter user and XDA contributor Max Weinbach. He says that the feature will allow the phone to take shots from two or three of its rear cameras at the same time. You’ll then be able to choose which one to keep. According to Quandt, Samsung has brought back the alleged Galaxy S21 FE’s support pages to several of its regional websites. As we’ve reported prior to this, these were previously taken down earlier this month due to unspecified reasons. Granted, most will take this as a sign that the company is yet again gearing up to launch the unannounced smartphone. But the question remains: when will we finally see it? Unfortunately, no one has a concrete answer to that question at this time – aside from the usual speculations and unconfirmed claims....

Like all currently existing in-display fingerprint scanners, Qualcomm’s Ultrasonic fingerprint scanners enables both the Galaxy S10 and Note10 flagships to do away with the traditional fingerprint scanners. Allowing users to simply have their fingerprints scanned and verified from under the display. Unfortunately, the Qualcomm’s fingerprint scanner has been plagued both with several issues and loopholes since its introduction. For a start, the displays of the Galaxy S10 and Note10 series’ are unable to play nice with any run-of-the-mill screen protectors, other than the ones being sold by Samsung....

According to ETnews, Samsung believes that there are enough chargers around already. At the same time, the company is looking to reduce the production costs in order to offset ever higher smartphone prices. It appears that the leakster is not the only one who is claiming that the Korean tech giant is planning to supply its self-produced chips to third party companies. A recent report by Business Korea stated that Samsung is also looking to provide its Exynos chips to other Chinese smartphone makers including Vivo, Xiaomi and OPPO, which would be used to power their mid-range devices. — Ice universe (@UniverseIce) October 12, 2020 This isn’t the first time that the company has supplied its Exynos chips smartphones to third party companies....

Samsung’s decision to open up a new factory in Taylor specifically; as part of the Biden administration’s recently approved US$52 billion (~RM218 billion) in subsidies for chipmaking plants, building the plant in the city of Texas also means that the Korean tech giant gets over 90% in tax breaks for the first 10 years. As for what it will make, Samsung says that the plant will make manufacturing products based on advanced process technologies, which is just a fancy way of saying that it will produce components for mobile, 5G, HPC and AI applications....

One major reason behind the Korean brand’s decision foregoing LCD production could be due to the rapidly falling prices of the display panel. Brought about by Chinese competitors that have increased production of the component, as well as the weakening demand for TVs around the world. Samsung’s isn’t the only brand feeling the sting of declining LCD production prices. Even its South Korean competitor, LG, has announced that it will be ending its own LCD production by year’s end as well....

According to the announcement by the foundation, it has invested around SAR813 million (~RM882 million) in SNK. This gives the foundation a 33.3% stake in the company. Though as part of the deal, the foundation will be buying another 17.7% of the game dev’s shares. The final result, when it happens, is a 51% controlling stake in the company.
