Granted, the ability to send money to friends or family on Facebook is a feature that has been available on the platform for quite some time. However, the main goal of Facebook Pay is to allow users to track their payment history across Facebook, Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp in one place. Facebook’s vice president of marketplace and commerce Deborah Liu explained in a blog post that Facebook Pay will ease transactions for purchases, charity donations, or transfers across all of its platforms while ensuring that all payment information will be secure and protected....

The report claimed that Facebook is currently in the early stage of integrating the three apps with each other. Under a direct order from the CEO of the company himself, Mark Zuckerberg, the integration will only cover the internal aspects of these apps while they will continue to operate as individual apps. Specifically, the integration will involve the implementation of end-to-end encryption in addition to cross-messaging capability between all three apps....

Aside from having a rounder body as compared to the Ace 2, Fitbit has also implemented several upgrades into the new model. The company said that the Ace 3 now has a longer battery life of up to eight days which is three days more than its predecessor. Other than that, the Ace 3 also features new clock faces such as cosmos, unicorns, and spaceships with more to come which will allow the little ones to customise their fitness watch further....

Being the legends that they are, the teams within Fnatic have attracted many collaborators and the latest in the list is the renowned Italian luxury fashion brand, Gucci. To celebrate their new partnership, Gucci has launched a special Fnatic version of its Dive watch. Taking Fnatic’s League of Legends team as the source of its inspiration, the watch is draped in black and orange which is the signature colourway of Fnatic itself....

As previously reported, the Gen 6 is one of the first wearables to be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 4100+ chipset. This variant is claimed to offer faster performance in terms of processing speeds and charging, as well as more efficient power consumption when compared to the standard chip. Paired together with the SoC is 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage capacity. Fossil says that the Gen 6 will come with Wear OS 2 upon launch, but noted it would still receive the new Google-Samsung developed Wear OS sometime next year via a firmware update....

Geely’s partnership with Foxconn, well-known as a major Apple supplier, would involve them providing contract manufacturing for other carmakers. According to Reuters, the companies would each have a 50% stake in a venture that will also provide automakers with consulting services on electric vehicle (EV) technologies. News reports indicate that Apple itself is likely to launch a self-driving electric vehicle by 2024. According to Android Police, Google had quietly added full support for the controller to the Android 10 platform. Prior to this, the Switch Pro Controller could be paired up to an Android device but lacked the proper button mappings to ensure proper functionality. The current version of Android 10 remedies that by including the necessary button mappings for the Switch Pro Controller and allowing users to finally play mobile games with the device....

The report, which originates from The Information, says that Google runs a program known as Android Lockbox and what it does is allow the company to collect information on apps and services that aren’t made by Google. According to Amanz.net, Grab Malaysia has shared that they are looking to introduce GrabPay Card locally within this year. However, they have not decided on a release date at this time.
