In an update to the Apple Malaysia website, the company noted that Malaysian consumers will be able to place their order for MacBook Air M2 starting this coming Friday, 8 July from 8:00 PM onwards. We have yet to receive information on when exactly consumers can purchase the laptop from Apple Authorized Resellers but given this revelation, you are most probably able to do it very soon as well. In terms of the shipping date, Apple didn’t specifically mention it on the Malaysian website....

According to the minister, the Ministry of Transportation didn’t direct any of the Malaysian air carriers to stop their flights from West Malaysia to East Malaysia. However, they themselves were forced to halt their operations due to significant reduction of passengers which is the natural consequences of the Movement Control Order (MCO). However, this doesn’t mean that all flights between these cities will be resumed as normal though. The announcement stated that there will only be 1 return flights per week between KL to Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, and Miri....

In a press release published earlier today, group chief executive officer Captain Izham Ismail said the decision to suspend operations into Brisbane is to ensure that the airline is able to operate and utilise its fleet at an optimum level, as well as maximising revenue on every route. He added that the continued increase in fuel cost, forex and interest rate are also the determining factors behind the move. According to Malaysia Airlines, customers travelling to Brisbane can instead leverage its codeshare and Oneworld partner Qantas, as well as opting for connecting flights from Sydney and Melbourne after the suspension....

With this new website, people can access data on other things like blood availability, organ donation and hospital bed utilisation. More data, such as those on ambulance response time, medicine stock and mortality are to be added down the line. In its announcement post, Netflix says that it is establishing this internal games studio in Helsinki, Finland. It will be helmed by Marko Lastikka, who was previously the GM of Zynga Helsinki. As for why it chose the location it chose, the streaming company says that this is because “it is home to some of the best game talent in the world”. It is also where Next Games, a studio that Netflix acquired earlier this year, is based....

The only catch is that it is exclusive to Android smartphones and you can’t cast content to a TV or other display. Netflix also limits the titles available under the free plan to only a select few popular ones, meaning users have to pick up the paid plan if they want to watch other titles. As with the free plan in Kenya, free users in Vietnam also can’t download episodes for offline viewing, but Netflix says this feature will be enabled in the near future....
