The central bank maintained that financial institutions in Malaysia are equipped with strong authentication methods for online card transactions. This includes prompting users for additional confirmation for certain transactions that are considered to be “more risky,” which BNM says is significant for reducing the risk of fraudulent transactions from occurring. It further states that customers will not be liable for any fraudulent or unauthorised transactions that may arise from this incident, especially for purchases from overseas merchants....

Originally announced to the world just mere days before AirPods Pro, the said product is the new Beats Solo Pro which was said to be the company’s first-ever on-ear noise-cancelling headphones although their proprietary Pure ANC feature was adapted from Beats Studio3. Alongside the equally new Powerbeats Pro, the Solo Pro is part of the latest next-generation product line-up from Beats. Powered by Apple’s own H1 chip, Beats claimed that the audio drivers within the Solo Pro are able to deliver good frequency response and lower total harmonic distortion which was apparently made possible due to their optimum diaphragm geometries....

In its recent earnings report, Activision CEO Bobby Kotick said that the company has “made multiple mobile, free-to-play Warcraft experiences and they’re now in advanced development”. He also said that the company intends to “deliver more frequent premium content to sustain the World of Warcraft community”. Kotick explained that “This will create opportunities for both existing players and new fans to experience the Warcraft universe in entirely new ways”. Which is an interesting take considering the backlash by existing Diablo fans to a mobile title in the series....

After more than 10 days in theatres, Gemini Man hasn’t even recovered its $US 138 million production budget. The film has merely grossed $US 118 million at the global box office ($US 36 million in North America + $US 82 million outside North America). This includes a relatively small $US 21 million haul in China, the country the film was banking on to succeed big time. And its future doesn’t look bright....

According to Seattle police, the suspect, Shawn Shaputis, broke into and gained access into the 11th floor of Valve’s office via a “non-functioning stairwell door” of a public restaurant. Once inside, Shaputis proceeded to pillage more than US$42,000 (~RM176,295) worth of items. The list reportedly includes between 15 and 20 ASUS laptops, Nintendo Switch consoles, 15 Xbox One, 23 PS4 games, and a minigun prop that Gabe Newell, Valve’s CEO used for a Forbes magazine feature....

This cloud gaming service works much like the other implementations that you’re already familiar with. Your games are processed remotely – in this case on Radian Arc hardware – and then streamed to your device. But with Blacknut, all you need to pay for is its subscription fee. Unlike, for example, Google Stadia, you don’t need to buy the games and then pay for the subscription. And this service gives subscribers access to over 400 games....

Going into the details, The M Pass of the XP Lite postpaid plan actually still only adds 7GB of data to the plan. Instead, you also get unlimited data to stream videos on YouTube, but you’ll be limited to SD quality (480p) videos. According to DxOMark, the camera capabilities on the Galaxy S10 5G has surpassed Galaxy S10+. Not only that, the image lab has also stated that the phone is also on par with the current king of DxOMark smartphone ranking, Huawei P30 Pro. Even though they have been given the same overall score by DxOMark, it turns out that the P30 Pro scored slightly better when it comes to photography due to its zoom capability....

The league hopes to restart the season potentially on 8 June, with plans of finishing at the end of July. As scary that may sound, fret not. Several security researchers point out that the app is not collecting seemingly aged looks and sending them back to Russia for some dastardly or scary cloning project. For a start, a French researcher found that the FaceApp only took photos you want to be transformed, and sent them to the company’s servers. The rub of FaceApp’s face altering technology lies in how the app could simply process the image on your device, rather than actually perform the action on an outside server....
