While it’s still an ambidextrous mouse, the company claims to have built the new Razer Viper from the ground up to cater to professional gamers. The most important change here is that the switches are optical. These new switches work without physical contact, offering three times faster actuation speeds than traditional mechanical switches. There are a few other features of the Razer Viper which the company says is tailored for esports. Weighing in at 69g, it’s also the lightest mouse by Razer. It also comes with what the company calls the Speedflex cable, which has lower drag leading to less snagging when making huge swiping motions. The DPI switcher has also been moved to the underside to prevent accidental toggling. The Razer Viper is already available with a price of RM359.
