The rumour was first picked up by the China-based site MyDrivers. Beside the launch date, the site also claims that the starting SRP of the new card will be a ballpark figure of 2099 Yuan (~RM1260). To recap, the Radeon RX 590 is expected to ship out with Polaris Refresh GPU, more specifically, a Polaris 30 GPU. If true, then this will be the third iteration of the Polaris GPU architecture, with the first iteration having made its debut back in 2016 with the Radeon RX 400 series. The Radeon RX 590’s GPU architecture will also be built on AMD’s new Zen+ architecture, which is based upon a new 12nm+ LP GPU architecture versus the 14nm die lithography that was first used for the Radeon RX 400 and RX 500 series graphics cards. As these things go, there’s still not a whole lot of information to go on regarding the card. Also, considering that AMD hasn’t made any official announcement, we do advise that you take this story with a very large grain of salt. At least, until something tangible crops up.
