Now, according to a report by The Korea Herald, Samsung is looking to officially launch the Galaxy S10 5G sometime in the month of April. Along with a roadmap for its promotion. First, the Galaxy S10 5G will be available at a handful of stores, such as Samsung outlets, its online store, and also mobile carrier shops in South Korea.

Samsung also said it will not take pre-orders for the 5G variant. Instead, there will be a promotional campaign that offers either the Galaxy Buds, the wireless charger package, or a 50% discount voucher for screen replacement for customers who register the phone between 5 April and 16 April. Samsung also says that the Galaxy S10 5G will have 20 times faster network connectivity than 4G networks. The overall user experience will also be improved with better network sharing, faster streaming, 4K video calls, and better online gaming performance.

As it stands, the Galaxy S10 5G will only see distribution in South Korea for the time being. Considering that we don’t technically have the necessary network infrastructure for 5G connectivity, it’s possible that Samsung Malaysia won’t be bringing the phone to our shores anytime soon.
