According to SamMobile, One UI 2.0 is currently in beta. One crucial difference between the selfie and main camera version is supposedly a lack of customisation options for the Slow-Mo selfie function. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22WdaiJAbcI Aside from the lack of customisations, the function is as straightforward as you’d expect. You hit the record button and perform your desired action. Once recorded, you may edit the video to adjust its playback speed after the recording session, just like how you do edit the usual Slow-Mo video. The results look promising, given that it is still under beta testing phase and despite minor jitters.
Samsung is not the first manufacturer to implement a Slow-mo selfie feature. Apple, first introduced the feature with the launch and announcement of its recent iPhone 11 series. Instead of Slow-Mo, Apple’s calls its feature “slofies”. At the time of writing, Samsung still hasn’t provided an official release date for One UI 2.0. (Source: SamMobile, GSMArena)
