And what a looker the PS5 turns out to be. Like its DualSense controller, there’s a two-tone, black and white design going on. But it’s done in a slightly better way, with the white wrapping around the black middle segment. And where the two colours meet, Sony has placed the blue LED lights for extra flavour. And like every PlayStation since the PS2, you can have the PS5 laying flat, or standing. Sony also revealed that the PS5 will have a Digital Edition, which reminds us of the Xbox One S. This disc-less version of the PS5 looses a slight curve where the Blu-ray drive is, but it otherwise completely identical to the standard version. Chances are it will be a little more affordable as well, but Sony has yet to confirm that. Speaking of price, Sony has yet to mention anything about it. Nor has the company mentioned an exact release date. So all we have to go with is still just the end of 2020. But on the bright side, at long last we now know what the PlayStation 5 looks like.
