Aside from its speed, another major concern that many have regarding the Broadband Lite 1Mbps plan is its paltry 1GB monthly data quota. While the plan may have been around since 2015, many feel that the 1GB quota is no longer suitable for this age and era. The rest of the Broadband Lite 1Mbps plan remains the same though which include 384kbps upload speed, a 12-month contract, and users’ speed will still be throttled to 128kbps once the 50GB quota has been fully utilised. In addition to that, consumers are still required to have a TM fixed line in their premise first before they can sign up for the plan which can only be done directly at TMpoint outlets.
