First teased yesterday, both devices shared plenty of features together including 6.53-inch HD+ display, 2GB RAM, 13MP main camera, 5MP selfie camera, micro USB port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and 5000mAh battery. However, the Redmi 9C does carry additional 2MP macro and 2MP depth cameras on its back alongside a fingerprint sensor. At the same time, the phone is also powered by Helio G35 as opposed to the Helio G25 on the Redmi 9A. In terms of availability, the Redmi 9A will be making its way into Malaysia first on 7 July via Lazada and Shopee with a special launch price of RM 319. It will then be released through physical stores from 14 July onwards for RM 359 while the higher-end Redmi 9C will then follow through at the end of July for RM 429.
